The David Austin rose ‘Grace’ is such a lovely colour. Would you call it peach? Somehow that doesn’t sound pretty enough.‘Mary Webb’ is too top heavy, as usual, and is now all bowed down with the rain.We don’t usually pick the grass tree flowers, but the bush part of the block will have to be slashed soon anyway, to make it fire-safe for summer. And the bulb is a weed. A pretty weed; maybe some sort of gladiolus?‘Graham Thomas’ is the most perfect yellow I can imagine. I have no idea why I haven’t planted more; I should another ten at least, so I can look out onto a sweep of that beautiful golden yellow. Just got to dig up more grass…
