This time next week, I’ll be at the school gym, one of the team accepting all the works in for the school art show. Then we spend most of the night and into the wee hours of the morning hanging the show. Opening night is Friday night and I’ll be a wreck. But a happy wreck, because being surrounded by art and artists is one of my very favourite things.
The show is on all that weekend- March 26th-27th- if anyone wants to come along. It’s full of lovely local work to browse, there is a craft market, music performances and a cafe. The entry fee is a mere gold coin donation- a bargain.
It’s on at the school gymnasium, Melbourne Rudolf Steiner School, 213 Wonga Road, Warranwood, Victoria. For more information, see http://www.mrss.com.au
The image used on the flyer is one of Narissa Butler’s, a very talented artist from our local community. Check out her web site here if you would like to see more of her work.
