Why do I enjoy drawing kitchen implements so much? I don’t understand it either.

I visited the Tarra Warra Art Museum yesterday to see the Brett Whitely exhibition. I have long admired his more domestic works; interiors of his studio, views of Lavender Bay and beautiful, mysterious still life paintings. The use of paint was so much thinner and more delicate than I thought, and so lovely.
